Getting Around
Parking and Access
Please only park two cars in our driveway, per the Green Mountain Falls requirement. If you have additional cars, you are welcome to park them in the center of town.
The key code on the front door entrance at the top of the deck stairs is 5874. Press those numbers and the check mark to enter.
Thermostat
Please leave the thermostat between 55–75 degrees. The whole house humidifier will run even when the thermostat isn't on. When you check out, please turn the thermostat down to 60 degrees.
Amenities
Indoor Fireplace
To turn on the indoor fireplace, use the black box next to the fireplace by turning the switch to the on position.
Hot Tub
Please shower without soap before use and wipe any debris off your feet before getting in. Keep the lid on with the rocks on top or clipped when not in use. Empty one chemical cup directly into the hot tub filter before each use.
The hot tub area is not out of view from others in sight. The remote for the outdoor hot tub lights is located on the shelf that holds the chemical cups.
Television and Smart Speaker
The Smart TV can be used with HDMI to your personal device or through digital platforms (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, or services you have subscriptions for). Please log out of all accounts on your checkout day.
To connect to just the speaker for music, use your device with Apple Airplay (this is not a Bluetooth device).
Coffee Maker
Pour water to the "Max Line."
Use 1/2 C scoop of beans.
Pour beans in top of grinder and turn the knob to 6–7.
Pour grounds into the cone filter and press the button on the side of the coffee maker.
When finished brewing, screw on the pouring lid for an easy pour and to keep the coffee hot.
Garbage and Waste
Please do not leave any trash or smelly foods outside—bears will come for a visit and make a mess of it. For this reason, we do not have a trash can or dumpster at the property. If your stay is longer than five days, we can pick up and dispose of any trash upon your request.
Pets
We are happy that your furry friend could join you at Limber Pines! Please:
Pick up after them when they go to the bathroom
Don't leave them unattended in the house unless they are crated
Don't let them on any furniture
Keep them leashed while outside, we have a lot of wildlife
We would love to see photos of your pup enjoying their stay!
Altitude Sickness
Altitude sickness occurs when your body doesn't have time to adjust properly to lower oxygen availability at higher elevations. Symptoms include feeling lightheaded, nausea, headache, fatigue, trouble sleeping, and vision changes.
If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, we highly recommend drinking a lot of water and keeping your body hydrated. There is a Walmart in Woodland Park (10 minutes away) that sells oxygen cans. In severe cases, we recommend driving down to Colorado Springs where the elevation is lower.
We recommend booking an appointment at Elevation Hydration in Colorado Springs, which offers IV Hydration Therapy to help eliminate altitude sickness.
